Technology and Media in Education

Tasks: 

• Read Chapters 1 & 2 of technology in education workbook by Mrs. Richardson.
• Answer the assigned questions on the topics and submit.
• Submit answers to teacher via email (google form).

Steps taken to complete tasks:

1. Open the email sent by the lecturer Mrs. Marsh-Roberts.
2. Read the email, the instructions given.
3. Open and download workbook.
4. Read chapters 1 & 2.
5. Open the assignment attachment, click on the links to open the answer sheet and answer the questions in response to the chapters read.
6. Click submit after all questions are answered.

Challenges faced while completing the tasks are:

Difficulty reading on a small screen for so long.






Rushing to get my work done before the current came off due to the pending hurricane.






It was difficult to find some information in the chapters read.

My internet connection was very slow.








What did I learn?
I learnt so much from reading those two chapters. I learnt about Secondary and Primary storages, ROM and RAM and their different advantages and disadvantages. I learnt of the different output devices and input devices and about the function of the CPU.

How can I use this information and apply it in the classroom?
I can use this information by sending work to my students via email and allow them to complete assignments via google form just as I did this week, rather than collecting books and having them writing down the assignment I can allow them to do it through email. Saves the load😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
